SCP welcomes two radiologists as partners
SCP Radiology is privileged to welcome not one but two radiologists as partners this month.
Drs Arthur Winter and Jaco du Plessis will assume new duties as part of the practice leadership, after having joined the SCP group a year ago – both from established practices in Gauteng and both bringing invaluable skill and experience with them.
.
.
Dr Winter has led a successful radiology career thus far, which most notably includes subspecialisation in neuro-intervention.
He completed his training in this field at the University of Toronto, spent 12 years as head of the General Interventional and Neuro-interventional unit at Unitas Hospital (where he served for over 20 years in total), and is a former president of the South African Neuro-intervention Society.
We are thrilled to have this skill set embedded in our practice, and we’re looking forward to further exploring its future possibilities.
.
.
Dr du Plessis has brought with him not only a wealth of experience in radiology itself but also in executive management.
Before joining the SCP group, he had spent 12 years as a partner at a Gauteng-based practice, including as a member of the managing executive. He also holds great insight and experience as Exco member and former secretary of the Radiological Society of South Africa (RSSA).
At SCP his interest in musculoskeletal imaging has further made him a valued member of the MSK team.
It gives us great pleasure to congratulate and welcome both new Partners to SCP. We trust that this will be the start of a long and fruitful new chapter for them.
