Ceres branch relocates to a modern new space
SCP Radiology Ceres recently celebrated its relocation from the old Netcare Ceres Hospital building to a freestanding, modern facility in the central business district.
The launch of the new premises was attended by local healthcare professionals, and staff and managers from the SCP Radiology group. The local Pathcare branch is now co-located with SCP and Pathcare personnel joined in on the festivities on 15 May.
The new address on the corner of Munnik and Orange Street is a modern, well-appointed space where SCP offers general X-rays and a mammography service. It is a considerable upgrade from the otherwise empty Netcare building, where the private hospital had closed down in November 2021.
Branch Manager Dr Johan Blomerus thanked local doctors and residents for their patience during the search for and relocation to a welcoming new space. “We are delighted to be opening the doors of this newly revamped space. We look forward to continuing to offer a top class radiology service to the local community.”
SCP Radiologyโs Managing Partner, Dr Jean de Villiers, and SCP Radiologyโs radiographer in Ceres, Riรซtte Basson, confirmed this message in their respective speeches. They also emphasised that it is a privilege to serve the local community and its GPs.
