Radiologist | Director
Overview
Dr Jaco du Plessis received his medical degree from the University of the Free State. After completing his internship and community service, he spent time as a Registrar in several clinical subspecialities in the United Kingdom. He also worked as a GP in Canada before commencing his post-graduate training.
He completed his radiology training at the University of Stellenbosch in 2010, while publishing several articles in both local and international radiology journals.
Dr du Plessis is currently a member of the SCP Management Committee. He is also serving a two-year term as Executive Committee member for the Radiological Society of South Africa (RSSA).
Life interests
Jaco is married to Anita and they have four children. The family enjoys sporting activities and being outdoors.
