Overview
Dr Ewoudt van der Linde is a fellowship-trained radiologist with subspeciality expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and interventions, supported by broad general radiology experience.
He obtained his MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2005. He completed a Master of Science in Sports Medicine at the University of Pretoria in 2010, followed by his Master of Medicine in Radiology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, in 2015. He was awarded the Fellowship of the College of Radiologists of South Africa (FCRad Diag SA) in 2017.
He completed a Fellowship in Diagnostic and Interventional Musculoskeletal Radiology at Waikato DHB in Hamilton, New Zealand, from November 2020 to November 2021. He also holds the European Diploma in Musculoskeletal Radiology (EDiMSK), awarded by the European Society of Skeletal Radiology in 2025, and the Medality Brain & Spine Neuroradiology MRI Fellowship Certificate, completed in 2024.
Having completed postgraduate training in the field and previously worked closely with elite athletes and sporting teams, his background in sports medicine continues to inform his MSK imaging and clinical approach.
Life interests
Ewoudt enjoys spending time with his family and has a keen interest in sport.
