Overview
Dr Azhar Seedat attended the University of Cape Town (UCT), where he earned his MBChB degree in 2015. He completed his internship at Groote Schuur Hospital and the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. Thereafter, he also did his Radiology training at Groote Schuur Hospital and completed his Masters of Medicine at UCT.
Dr Seedat has authored several academic publications, he was involved in a variety of research projects and has presented at national and international conferences. He has a keen interest in cardiac imaging and is due to complete a fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging at the University of Toronto in 2027.
Life interests
Azhar enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and sport.
